What AI can't do for your marketing (yet)
An honest list from a shop that sells AI. Knowing the edges is why our output doesn't look like everyone else's.
It can't tell you what your business is actually about. Prompt a model for positioning and you'll get something that sounds like every other company in your category, because that's precisely what it was trained on. Differentiation is a decision, not an output.
It can't judge its own work. A model will happily hand you a technically fine ad with a hook that lands on nobody. Taste is still the scarce input — someone has to say 'this one, not that one', and mean it.
It can't own the relationship. Automations answer instantly; they don't build trust. The point of automating the plumbing is to free up the humans for the parts that actually need a human.
We say this as a shop that sells AI: the tools are the instrument, not the song. The agencies that win with AI aren't the ones that use the most of it — they're the ones that still have a point of view about what's worth making.
